Our pupils, staff and governors have all been involved in developing our school Christian Values of Love, Hope and Forgiveness.
These values form the foundations at Borden and underpin everything that we do.
We celebrate them during our Collective Worship, explore them through our RE lessons and use them in our everyday language.
More importantly, we live them out in everything that we do.
Our Values
Love
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Hope
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15: 13
Forgiveness
If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in Heaven will also forgive you.’
We have strong links with our church, St Peter & St Paul's Church, Borden. Each term, our children lead a service attended by the clergy, parents and the local community. The services include: Harvest, Remembrance, Christmas, Easter and Pentecost.
